Making our way back down south from a weekend in the highlands we drove along the coast admiring the power of the ocean. The North sea was crashing in to the land, clawing at the rugged cliffs with a chilling presence that the seasons are changing. As the road began to pull inland we were drawn to take one last look so turned away from our sat nat route and followed the signs for The Cove. Parking up, the wind howled at us as we stepped out of the warm car and walked over to the mighty waters in front of us. Gazing out to sea always puts things into persecutive, it gives me a sense of insignificance, but not in a negative way, in a way that makes me appreciate what I have and long to see more. It allows me to clear my mind.
